The Mini Safari Tour starts with a visit to the Lion Park where you will have the chance to come into close proximity to Elephants and Lions.
The next stop is The Birds of Prey Centre where visitors are introduced to the wide variety of majestic birds found in South Africa. The tour then moves onto Tala Game Reserve which provides exceptional game viewing and birding.
We make a stop at the Valley of a 1000 Hills to enjoy a glimpse of local Zulu culture and dancing at Phezulu Cultural Village.
To conclude the tour, we visit the Reptile Park where qualified park guides will intrigue with interesting facts about the resident crocodiles and snakes.

The tour will start at the King Shaka Memorial Site and then move onto the main attraction - Shakaland.

After Lunch we take a trip into the Dlinza Forest Reserve where spectacular views and a magnificent array of bird life can be enjoyed from the high raised board walks which wind their way through the beautiful reserve.
The tour leaves from Durban and progresses through Pietermaritzburg, the capital of Kwa-Zulu Natal and then up to Sani Pass.
The Sani Pass is a 33-kilometre gravel road that straddles the sheer cliffs of the Drakensburg escarpment in a series of tight zigzag curves.
The route begins at the Sani Pass Hotel which is 1566m above sea level. You will travel in a Land Rover 4x4 upwards along the narrow road crossing the South African/Lesotho border Post which is 1968m above sea level.
Along the way the South African landscape of Kwa Zulu Natal opens up in front of you displaying spectacular views of rolling hills and vast skies.
A delicious lunch will be enjoyed at a local Pub which sits at the highest point in Southern Africa, 2873m above sea level.

At Giant's Castle Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will embark on a 40 minute walk to the Main Caves which house exhibits of San Rock Art. A site guide will explain in detail the history and meaning of these ancient paintings.

Bushman Rock Paintings found in The Kamberg, situated at in the foothills of the Drakensburg Mountains are plentiful.
This site houses a greater volume of paintings which include some of the best-preserved paintings in South Africa.
Reaching this site is slightly more strenuous than the Giant's Castle site and you will embark on a 90 minute walk there and a 90 minute back.
The tour ends with a drive through the Midlands Meander, where you will be able to enjoy and purchase a variety of produce grown or manufactured by local farmers.
This tour takes you into the Northern part of KwaZulu Natal, where you will visit the famous battle sites of Isandlawana and Rorke's Drift.
A qualified and knowledgeable Tour Guide will impart fascinating details about the Zulu, Anglo and Boer Wars which took place at these sites.

Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve Set in the heart of Zululand where Africa's 'Big Five' (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhinoceros) roam the flourishing savannah. Established in 1895, this is the oldest game park in South Africa

iSimangaliso (Greater St Lucia) Wetland Park is South Africa's third-largest protected area, spanning 280 km of coastline. You will enjoy a 2 hour guided boat tour of the estuary where you will be taken up close to crocodiles, hippopotamus and the beautiful Fish Eagle.
This tour also includes a leisurely walk along the estuary and the coast line of the area.
